How to configure an email account on Samsung Galaxy S

Follow these steps to create a POP3 or IMAP connection to our servers on your Samsung Galaxy S:

  1. From the home screen, tap the Applications icon.
  2. Tap Mail.
  3. Enter the Email address. Note: If an email account is already set up, tap the More icon, tap Settings, and tap ADD ACCOUNT.
  4. Tap Manual Setup.
  5. Tap Add Another Account.
  6. Tap POP3 or IMAP.
  7. Complete the User Name (this is your email address), Password, POP or IMAP Server (email.2kwebgroup.com), Security Type (TLS), Port (110 for POP or 143 for IMAP) fields.
  8. Enter email.2kwebgroup.com in the SMTP Server field, Security Type (TLS), enter 587 in Port field. Check Authentication required before sending emails and input User Name (email address) and Password fields.
  9. Tap Next.
  10. Tap the Inbox checking frequency field and tap the desired option; 15 minutes is usually a good idea. Tap to check or uncheck the options as desired.
  11. Tap Sign In.
  12. Enter your email address as the account name. Enter Your name as it should appear on outgoing emails.
  13. Tap Next to complete the setup.
