How to configure an email account in Windows 8

Follow the steps below to set up Windows 8 to retrieve and send email from our mail server.

NOTE: Windows 8 currently doesn't support POP3 email accounts. Please contact us if you are not sure if IMAP is enabled for your account.
  1. On your Windows 8 device, open Email, and then click the Settings icon.
  2. In the Settings menu, click Accounts.
  3. Under Accounts, click Add an account.
  4. Under Add an account, click Other account.
  5. Click Show more details.
  6. Enter the following information:
    • Email address: Your Email Address
    • Username: Your Email Address
    • Password: Enter your email account password
    • Incoming (IMAP) email server: email.2kwebgroup.com
    • Port: 993
    • Select Incoming server requires SSL.
    • Outgoing (SMTP) email server: email.2kwebgroup.com
    • Port: 465
    • Select Outgoing server requires SSL.
    • Select Outgoing server requires authentication.
    • Select Use the same username and password to send and receive mail.
  7. Click Connect.
